Job Profile: Sonic is seeking a Field Marketing Manager who will support all Sales and Marketing efforts in The City of Brentwood in the East Bay in Northern California. If you are friendly and enjoy creating a strong connection with your target audience, then this is the role for you. In this role, you will be required to positively convey Sonic's brand message and convert potential customers to customers at community events and by visiting each potential customer at their home. The ideal candidate will be articulate, positive, and capable of speaking to the public about Sonic Internet and TV services. Primary Responsibilities: Speaking to the public about Sonic's products and answering inquiries at local events and in one-on-one situations Planning, mapping, and tracking sales progress Creating and executing door-to-door sales and marketing campaigns Planning special marketing promotions, such as special events, on the street guerrilla marketing activities Identifying and participating in key events in the area, including farmer's markets, special events, working with realtors, Rotary clubs etc. Traveling in and around Brentwood, California Excellent speaking, presentation and sales skills Flexible schedule; ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Team recruitment and outstanding team management Skills/Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual should be optimistic, have self-confidence and able to convey Sonic's brand message. Education and/or Experience The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable speaking to the public about Sonic's mission in a dynamic technical industry. Must possess strong presentation skills, be able to communicate professionally, be organized, and able to effectively problem solve. Prior experience in retail, door to door sales, or event management is preferred.
