We are looking for experienced Shift Leaders, Cooks & Guest Service Agents (Cashiers) to join our team at our Brentwood location.
Shift Leaders At Rubio's, Shift Leaders are responsible and accountable for supervising and supporting productive and profitable restaurant operations. This includes providing great guest service, delivering exceptional food quality, and ensuring Team Member efficiency, safety and security.
A successful Shift Leader is dedicated to meeting the needs of Rubio's guests, creating a climate in which Team Members want to do their best, and is seen as a team player who has the ability to find common ground with peers and direct reports.
Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Interacting with guests, staff and management.
Opening and/or closing the restaurant according to Rubio's standards by supervising Team Member performance including setup, food preparation and cleaning.
Ensuring Team Members follow all Company policies.
Completing financial paperwork on a daily basis.
We're looking for Shift Leads who:
Have 1-2 years of related restaurant experience.
Are able to communicate in English. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
Can perform basic money-related mathematical calculations correctly.
Are able to stand for long periods of time.
Are able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Cooks We're looking for experienced, diligent individuals to join our back of house team. Our Cooks are responsible for preparing fresh, food products for every guest that visits Rubio's. If you have a passion for food quality and presentation, as well as speed, efficiency and cleanliness, we want to meet you.
